After-scroll is a behavioral technology that triggers a popup campaign once the user scrolls a certain percentage of a webpage. It is designed to help you show campaigns to the users who showed enough interest on the page to scroll down.
More segmented audience = More high-quality leads
Follow the steps below to set up the after-scroll trigger for your next Popupsmart campaign.
Step 1: Log in to your Popupsmart Dashboard. Click an existing campaign to Edit or create a new one by clicking on the Create a New Popup button
Step 2: On the popup builder screen, go to the Target section and click on Visitor Behavior to see all behavioral triggers available
Step 3: Select After Scrolling X% Of Your Webpage to open its settings
Click on the Add button. Next, select either Percent or Pixels for the Show When dropdown menu and enter the value on the Value field. For example, if the Percent option is selected, you can enter a value such as 20. This will trigger the popup after the users scroll 20% of the page.
Once you have configured the settings, make sure to click the Save button before closing the modal.
Step 4: After completing the targeting configurations, you’re ready to proceed to the Publish section. In this step, you can set up additional options like Integrations, Self Email Notifications, Respondent Email Notifications, Google Analytics Integration, and On-Click Popup Button Creator
Step 5: Your campaign is all ready to Save to publish later, schedule, or Save & Publish to set it live right now. Once you’re done, go back to the Dashboard to check your campaign’s status. If it’s switched off, it means deactivated or vice-versa
Important: View the added or existing targetings from the “Current display settings” area. You can use Debug Mode to understand which of these targeting is working correctly or incompletely on your website. Debug button is the “bug” icon on the right-middle side of the popup builder screen.
