Browser Targeting

Show or hide your popup campaign based on the visitor's browser. Learn how to set up Browser Targeting to include or exclude Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera.

Browser Targeting allows you to control whether a popup campaign is displayed based on the browser a visitor uses.

You can use it to show a campaign only on selected browsers or prevent it from appearing on specific browsers.

How Browser Targeting Works

Popupsmart identifies the visitor's browser and checks it against the conditions configured for your campaign.

You can create two types of rules:

  • Show on selected browsers: The popup is displayed only to visitors using one of the selected browsers.
  • Do not show on selected browsers: The popup is hidden from visitors using one of the selected browsers.

Visitors must meet the browser condition, along with any other targeting rules applied to the campaign, for the popup to appear.
