How to Set Up A/B Testing
Create or Select Campaign
Login to your Popupsmart account and ensure you have at least one existing popup campaign or create a new one.

Access A/B Testing
From your dashboard, hover over the campaign on which you want to run A/B testing. Click on the A/B Testing option inside the campaign box.

Configure Traffic Ratio
Set the percentage of visitors who will see each variation. For example, allocate 50% to version A and 50% to version B.

New Campaign
If you create a new campaign and start A/B test from scratch, traffic will be directed according to your set ratios.
Existing Campaign
If enabling A/B testing on an existing campaign that has traffic, the new variant will be shown exclusively until it matches your specified percentage.
Activate Campaign
Toggle on the popup campaign. Visitors will be randomly assigned to different variations based on your traffic ratios. All variants are now live.

Monitor Performance
Track each variation's performance through Google Analytics or the Popupsmart dashboard. Use insights to make data-driven decisions.
Data Loss Warning
If you delete a variant, all associated analytics data and leads will be lost.
Choose Winner
After gathering sufficient data, choose the most successful variant. Create a new campaign based on that variant to implement it as your primary popup.
