# Geo-Located Targeting

Geo-targeting allows your popup campaigns to appear only to visitors from specific location/s. It’s one of the best practices if you have campaigns that target based on locations like a country or a city.

Your Popupsmart campaigns are set to display on all locations by default.

To customize geo-targeting, follow the steps below after opening your Popupsmart dashboard and click to edit a campaign or create a new campaign.

Step 1: Go to the Target section(3rd step) from the left on your popup editor screen. Then, click Audience to set up your campaign’s audience targeting.

Step 2: Click on Geo Located to configure its settings. Set up which location/s will see your popup or hide your popup from specific locations.

There are three options to choose from:

  • All
  • Show in these locations.
  • Don’t show in these locations.

If you select one of the last two options, click on the Choose Location field to start typing a location name such as a country or city. Note that you can select multiple locations. Then, click on the result.

Step 3: Once you have configured location-specific settings, click Save before closing the modal.
